Brooklyn’s luxury private piercing studio, established 2019. We are an APP studio in Brooklyn and we make it easier to shop for quality body jewelry and safe piercings in New York City, away from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan.
Who We Are
So Gold Studios is a latina woman owned luxury private piercing studio in Brooklyn, New York, and the brainchild of Cassi Lopez, a seasoned piercer and stylist with 20 years of experience in the piercing industry in New York City. We are members, volunteers, and presenters of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP), with Cassi serving on the Board of Directors since 2022.
We recently moved into our newest studio in Williamsburg; complete with a beautiful lobby with a selection of fine jewelry, two private piercing rooms, and a consultation area for custom jewelry orders.

At So Gold Studios we prioritize personalized attention and operate by appointment only — We do not accept walk-ins.
Our studio’s goal is to provide the optimal client experience — Dedicated one-on-one time with your piercer and our jewelry selection, minimal distractions and wait times, and personalized care even after you leave your appointment. We are one of New York City’s premiere piercing studios tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan.
Our approach emphasizes balance and style while promoting safe healing, working with each client's anatomy and personal aesthetic. So Gold Studios follows the highest industry standards in jewelry quality and sterilization to prioritize the safety of our clients as members of the APP.

We are a gold-only studio that works only with genuine gemstones, specializing in diamonds. Our studio offers a wide range of high-quality body jewelry, made of 14K & 18K yellow gold, white gold (nickel safe), rose gold (cadmium free), implant-grade steel (ASTM-F138), and implant-grade titanium (ASTM F-136), all from the best in the industry and backed by a lifetime repair guarantee.
At Gold Studios, we are dedicated to offering only the finest jewelry from leading industry companies, and prioritize woman-owned, Black and POC-owned, smaller fine jewelers. EAR STYLING AND BEYOND
We offer the leading ear styling and designing services in New York City, working with each client’s current piercings and vision to create a new look with quality jewelry while promoting safe healing. Cassi Lopez is also a keynote speaker at various piercing conferences where she presents information to new and seasoned piercers on ear styling.
Every aspect of what we do involves our styling expertise. We will make sure to guide you to your goals and visions for your latest piercings!
Expertise and Education
We place great importance on piercing, jewelry, and sterilization expertise and education. Our team of piercers have a combined 45 years of experience in their field and they continuously sharpen their skills through regular training at seminars, courses, and piercing conferences.
Our commitment to education extends beyond our own team, as we also value the opportunity to teach classes at the yearly Association of Professional Piercers conference in Las Vegas and abroad. Our team is well-versed in a variety of subjects, including styling, jewelry expertise, branding, marketing, and building a successful career in the piercing industry. By sharing our knowledge and experience with other professionals, we aim to raise the standard of excellence in our field and contribute to the growth and development of the industry as a whole.
