Cassi is a piercing expert with over 20 years of experience. She opened So Gold Studios in 2019 with the vision of creating a comfortable and personalized piercing experience for her clients. Cassi has worked with talents such as Nathalie Emmanuel, Sarah Paulson, and Scarlett Johansson, and her work has been featured in various publications such as The Coveteur, Allure and The New Yorker. She focuses on creating balance and style while promoting safe healing.
Cassi offers a dedicated ear styling appointment and handpicks high-quality jewelry for her clients. She is a member of the Association of Professional Piercers and was elected as a board member overseeing Outreach in 2022. She has also been invited to teach at conferences in the US and Brazil.
Taylor Bell (she/her)
PIERCER AND STYLIST
Taylor Bell is a skilled piercer and jewelry expert based in New York City who began piercing simply because she loves making other people happy in their bodies. She joined So Gold Studios after a decade of experience in the industry and has worked with reputable jewelry brands and clients such as Zoe Kravitz, Frank Ocean, and more. Taylor is known for her eye for anatomy and unique styling ability, and she always prioritizes her clients' goals, lifestyle, and aesthetic. In the piercing room, Taylor creates a comfortable and informed experience for her clients.
Taylor is a member of the Association of Professional Piercers and is dedicated to educating those who are interested in getting pierced.
Vicki Rose (they/she)
PIERCER AND STYLIST
Vicki Rose has a passion for body jewelry and expanding their knowledge in piercing technique and innovation. They have been piercing professionally for over 15 years and have been featured in Nylon magazine, and have pierced talents such as Selena Gomez and Gigi Goode.
Vicki takes pride in performing piercings for body reclamation in a body positive and gender-inclusive environment. Vicki specializes in genital piercings and is a certified CPR, Bloodborne Pathogens, and First Aid professional. In addition to their piercing expertise, Vicki holds a degree in Accounting Information Systems Development from Virginia Tech. With a love for creativity and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, Vicki is an asset to our team and an expert in their field.
Vicki is a member of the Association of Professional Piercers and prioritizes continued learning in their craft by regularly attending piercing seminars and conferences.
